Chicano and Latin American Studies
Certificate in Chicana/o/x and Latina/o/x Studies

Are you interested in teaching at the K-12 level? Do you plan to pursue a career in
education as a counselor, librarian, advocate, or administration? Or do you have any
interest in working with diverse children and young adult?
The certificate in Chicana/o/x and Latina/o/x Studies in Secondary Schooling trains
undergraduate/graduate students from all majors and pre-service credential students
on teaching and incorporating a Chicana/o/x and Latina/o/x studies based on curriculum
in K-12 classroom and school settings.
