Our Mission
The Social Sciences Student Leadership Council is a forum where the Dean, ASI Senator,
COSS Major Student Council Members, & student groups, clubs, and/or organizations
can discuss topics as it relates to COSS students' success. We will coordinate and
execute some college networking events, and support our peers individual or student
groups needs throughout the academic year.
About the Position
The CLAS Representative is responsible for staying up to date with the department,
meeting every week with the council, and meeting once a month with the department
chair. The CLAS Rep. will strive to host various events throughout the academic year
that are aimed at student success with full support from the council.

COSS Leadership Representatives
The COSS Leadership Council is composed of Student Representatives from each department
and the ASI Senator.
Why should you apply?
This position will help you obtain your professional identity, develop professional
relationships, and gain leadership skills. You will learn how to collaborate with
various individuals in the College of Social Sciences including the Student Involvement
& Success Coordinator and the COSS ASI Senator. Most importantly, you will be able
to find ways to contribute to the betterment of your department.

Applications will be emailed towards the end of each semester to all COSS students.
Prospective applicants must be in good academic standing.
