CLAS Representative, COSS Student Leadership Council
Our Mission
The Social Sciences Student Leadership Council is a forum where the Dean, ASI Senator, COSS Major Student Council Members, & student groups, clubs, and/or organizations can discuss topics as it relates to COSS students' success. We will coordinate and execute some college networking events, and support our peers individual or student groups needs throughout the academic year.
About the Position
The CLAS Representative is responsible for staying up to date with the department,
meeting every week with the council, and meeting once a month with the department
chair. The CLAS Rep. will strive to host various events throughout the academic year
that are aimed at student success with full support from the council.

The COSS Leadership Council is composed of Student Representatives from each department and the ASI Senator.
Why should you apply?
This position will help you obtain your professional identity, develop professional relationships, and gain leadership skills. You will learn how to collaborate with various individuals in the College of Social Sciences including the Student Involvement & Success Coordinator and the COSS ASI Senator. Most importantly, you will be able to find ways to contribute to the betterment of your department.
