Monday, March 17
DREAM Week Opening and Kick-Off
- Location: LIB 2206 | 1 - 2:00 PM
- Opening session to Fresno State's DREAM week. This event will highlight all of the different activities that will make up DREAM Week and offer an opportunity to engage with some presenters and learn about advocacy and support efforts in solidarity with undocumented students throughout the CSU.
Tuesday, March 18
Empowering LEADers of Today
- Location: RSU 206 | 9 - 10:30 AM
- A networking and leadership development workshop designed to foster support and guidance. Strengthen relationships, develop leadership skills, and create a supportive community on campus. Student-led.
Entrepreneurship 101
- Location: Library 2206 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship! This workshop guides undocumented students through brainstorming venture ideas, developing professional branding, navigating legal and financial aspects, and creating a personalized action plan.
Advising and Supporting Undocu Students
- Location: Library 2206 | 2-3 p.m.
- Diana Rea Flores and Luis Fernando Macías will host a workshop on best practices for supporting undocumented students and their needs.
Wednesday, March 19
Resource and Community Organization Fair
- University Dining Hall, East Banquet Room | 12- 1:30 p.m.
- This event will connect the university community with organizations supporting immigrant families in the Central Valley, offering resources, volunteer and internship opportunities, and valuable personal and professional growth information.
Undocu-Leaders Panel
- University Dining Hall, East Banquet Room | 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- This panel will highlight the work of local community leaders, who support immigrant communities in our Central Valley through their community-based work.
Thursday, March 20
Know Your Rights and Immigration Updates
- Location: Library 2206 | 9-11 a.m.
- Join Immigrant Legal Defense on this informative Know Your Rights session that will cover a person’s legal rights in various situations, how to handle encounters with law enforcement or immigration authorities, and steps to prepare in case of emergencies. In-person legal consultations available thereafter (must register).
Letters to Leaders Workshop
- Location: Resnick Student Union 214 | Noon-1:30 p.m.
- Students will learn how to find local and state representatives and craft compelling letters that express thoughts, concerns, and ideas on the issues that matter most to them. A collaboration with Fresno State’s CCGC.
Research Talk- Seeking Out Funding and Support as Undocumented Students
- Location: Resnick Student Union 207AB | 2-3 p.m.
- A student-led research talk focused on exploring funding & support opportunities for undocumented students.
No More Crumbs- Doc Screening and Director’s Talk
- Location: Ag Science 109 | 6:30-8 p.m.
- Samuel Contreras, Fresno State Assistant Professor, directed this documentary highlighting the experiences of DACA students who traveled to their birth country through the advanced parole program.
Friday, March 21
Student Panel

- Student panelists will share their experiences as college students and personal experiences. Must register to attend.
Alumni Panel
- Location: Library 2206 | 10 a.m.-Noon
- A panel of alumni will be sharing their experiences about life after graduation and offer advice to the current generation of undocumented college students.
DREAM Week Closing Speaker
- Location: Library 2206 | 11 a.m.-Noon
- José Anzaldo, the subject of the documentary East of Salinas, will deliver the week’s closing keynote address, sharing his experiences growing up as an undocumented student in the Central Valley and his journey to becoming a public speaker and advocate.
