Biographical Sketch

Dr. Arndorfer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology at California State University, Fresno. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Psychology from Florida International University. Dr. Arndorfer’s research addresses questions concerning various issues at the intersection of psychology and the law. Specifically, her research topics include: legal decision making, criminal interrogation and confessions, eyewitness memory, and the social and cognitive factors influencing lineup identification decisions and post-decision judgments. Dr. Arndorfer works on this research with both graduate and undergraduate students. She hopes that her work will help improve the accuracy of criminal trial verdicts and to inform professionals in various legal contexts regarding the most effective methods to employ in their interactions with victims, witnesses, and suspects of crime.
