Roxanne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with an emphasis in Restorative
Justice from Fresno Pacific University. During her undergraduate studies, she was
actively involved in the Victim-Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP), where she
gained valuable experience in restorative practices. She also served in the Community
Outreach Program and worked on the crisis hotline at the Marjaree Mason Center, supporting
individuals affected by domestic violence.
She went on to earn her Master of Science in Counseling with an option in Marriage
and Family Therapy from California State University, Fresno. Her clinical experience
includes working as a Mental Health Therapist with Fresno Family Counseling Center,
Family Healing Center, Fresno County Behavioral Health, and Fresno Unified School
District.
Roxanne specializes in trauma-informed therapy and play therapy, working with individuals
and families to support healing, resilience, and emotional well-being. Her approach
is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices that recognize
the impact of trauma across the lifespan.
